Ghana’s head coach Otto Addo will submit his squad for the 2022 World Cup playoff against Super Eagles to the Ghana Football Association for approval on Thursday, according to Ghanasoccernet.com.
The squad is expected to be dominated by players who took part in the just-concluded 2021 Africa Cup of Nations where the Black Stars exited in the first round.
Captain Andre Ayew will miss both legs of the qualifiers through suspension following his red card in the Black Stars’ last game against Comoros in AFCON.
Ghana will host the first leg on March 25 at the Cape Coast Stadium, while the second leg will be played in Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja four days later.
