An 87-year-old woman who saw a stranger hovering over her bed when she woke up fed the man after he claimed to be “awfully hungry” and then defeated the stranger. Around two in the morning on July 26, Marjorie Perkins’ young attacker broke into her Brunswick, Maine, house while she was asleep. The young man informed her he was going to slash her as she awoke after taking off his pants.
She told the Brunswick Times Record, “I thought to myself, ‘If’s he’s going to cut, then I’m going to kick,’ so I jumped into my shoes. Ms. Perkins attempted to defend herself by grabbing a chair, but was hit in the cheek and forehead as a result of the altercation.
