Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike and the All Progressive Congress (APC)’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu have reportedly met in France.
The former Lagos State governor left Nigeria for France on Monday.
The PUNCH quoted an APC chieftain and Special Adviser to the Governor of Lagos State on Drainage and Water Resources, Joe Igbokwe, as saying that Wike visited Tinubu in France.
The information on the visit was said to have been disclosed through a statement posted on Igbokwe’s official Facebook page.
“While they are on social media abusing everybody, Governor Wike goes to France to meet Asiwaju.
“Abuse, calling names, hate, and bigotry are no strategy. They hated and abused PMB (President Muhammadu Buhari) since 2015 and now they have transferred the aggression to Asiwaju. We wait and see,” he quoted to have said in the post.
