Kidnappers have seized the wife of a deputy commander of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Apollos Dandaura, in Lafia. Nasarawa State.
Mr Dandaura is the commander of Commandant General’s Special Intelligence Squad.
Armed with AK-47 rifles, the bandits stormed the victim’s house, shot into the air to wade any intruder away and took the woman away.
The invaders shot and wounded the Commander’s younger brother, also a personnel of the NSCDC, in the incident in Lafia, the Nasarawa State Capital.
He is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed hospital in Lafia and is reportedly responding to treatment.

Spokesperson of the Nasarawa State Command of NSCDC, Mr Jerry Victor, they were still trying to locate where the abducted woman was taken to.
He said efforts were on to rescue the victim unhurt, adding that the kidnappers are yet to reach out to the command and the family of the victim.
