Etsu Nupe, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar, says Edusoko University, Bida was established to help solve the problem associated with low human capital development index in the country and reduce youth restiveness.
The Etsu, who is Chairman of Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, said this when he paid a courtesy visit to the Niger State Governor Abubakar Sani Bello at the Government House, Minna.
The monarch who is also Chairman, Board of Trustees of Edusoko University said the university has commenced the admission process of 100 level students through JAMB, adding that the first batch of admission list will soon be released on the University’s website.
The monarch thanked the governor for the role he played in the takeoff of the university.
The governor said it will help solve admission challenges in the state.
Bello commended the foresight of the Etsu Nupe for establishing the university, and expressed optimism that the University will go a long way in producing graduates with the required skills and knowledge needed to improve the society.
