A group of patriotic All Progressives Congress (APC) members under the auspices of APC Patriotic Volunteers had outlined the achievements of former Kano state governor and current APC national chairman Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, saying the national party leader should be celebrated.
This was disclosed by the groups national President and former Kano state Secretary to the state government Alhaji Usman Alhaji during an event to celebrate Ganduje’s one year in office as APC’s national party chairman. According to him, the group which is a collection of dedicated and passionate individuals who are deeply committed to upholding and advancing the principles and values APC has found it worthy to celebrate Ganduje as he clocked one year in office.
He explained that under Ganduje’s watch the party had secured electoral victories in Kogi and Edo states respectively adding that the two secured victories are clear testimonies that the party is indeed under the control of an experienced driver whose desire is to arrive at the set destination safely.
He further stated that under one year, Ganduje has succeeded in reinvigorating grassroots engagement in the party, build democratic structures, promoting youth and women in leadership, fostering national unity and cultural inclusiveness among others.
According to him, APC will continue to uphold Nigeria’s democratic values and champion sustainable development not only in Nigeria’s political stage but also in the global perspective.
