Captain, Ahmed Musa has maintained that the Super Eagles have enough quality players to win the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations which will kick off on January 11.
The West Africans will be gunning for a fourth title at the competition.
Musa, who was speaking in respect of the Eagles 0-2 loss to Syli National of Guinea on Monday, believes that Jose Peseiro’s side can go all the way in Cote d’Ivoire.
“Everybody is excited, waiting for us to travel to Abidjan for the competition,” Musa told NFF TV.
“Since the last game in Uyo, we have been talking, telling each other that it is time for us to go there and shine.
“We have the quality to win it, if you see the players in the 25-man squad, you can’t say we are not going to win.
“You know in football anything can happen, but we have the mindset to win it. The coach has already said his target is to win the AFCON and by God’s grace we are going to win it.”
