The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) is being engineered to provide alternative to the ruling All Progressives Congress APC and Peoples Democratic Party PDP.
National leader of the party Professor Attahiru Jega disclosed this in Birnin Kebbi capital of Kebbi State during an interactive session with stakeholders.
Jega said the party is currently engaged in mobilising Nigerians to bring critical stakeholders together toward forming a formidable party that will serve as a better alternative to the two dominant political parties in the country.
He said part of the campaign was to bring in everybody in to work against godfatherism as he said is obtainable in other parties.
The former Independent National Electoral Commission INEC national chairman said the party is more concerned with building its ideals, adding that it is too early to speak on individual ambitions.
“We are working toward building a virile alternative political platform ahead of 2023 against the dominant two political parties in the country,” he said.
