A Voice of America (VOA) Hausa Service corespondent in Adamawa state, Ibrahim Abdulazeez, is dead.
The journalist’s death was confirmed by the Adamawa State council of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) on Friday.
He will be buried Saturday in Yola.
A statement by the NUJ secretary, Fidelis Jockthan, said Mr Abdulazeez died in a car accident along Gombe- Alkaleri road while on official assignment.
The deceased worked for many media organizations that include Gotel Radio, Premium Times, Daily Trust, Blueprint, Nagarta Radio Kaduna, among others.
