The Shiroro-Katampe transmission line has again been vandalized.
The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) revealed this on Friday, stating that vandals carted away a part of the conductor between towers T216 and T218, thereby disrupting bulk power supply
TCN said the destroyed lines stolen conductor was being replaced, adding bulk power supply through the affected line was expected soon.
The TCN which did not say when the vandals struck, appealed to the public to assist in identifying and reporting suspicious activities around power transmission infrastructure to prevent acts of vandals and apprehend the culprits.
