Two people have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the murder of Captain Abdulkarim Na’Allah, the eldest son of Senator Bala Ibn Na’Allah (APC, Kebbi South).
The suspects were arrested in Kaduna.
Captain Abdulkarim was found dead in his bedroom at his Malali home in Kaduna on August 29.
Na’Allah is a ranking senator and chairman of the Senate Committee on Air force.
The 36-year-old pilot, who married recently, was tied and strangled to death.
The assailants took away the deceased vehicle and other personal belongings.
The spokesperson of Kaduna police command, ASP Mohammed Jalige, said the two suspects were arrested a week ago in Kaduna.
He said an investigation was ongoing to ascertain the motive behind the killing.
“The car the suspects took from the deceased had been recovered but is in the Niger Republic.
“We are liaising with Interpol to bring back the car to Nigeria,” he said.
