Notorious bandit kingpin Kachalla Bello Turji has released a new video advising other warlords to be cautious in striking a peace deal with political leaders.
In the video which trended on social media platforms on Wednesday, Turji was seen sitting on the plastic mat, holding an automatic weapon.
“They are deceitful. They only want to get your phone numbers and be sending drones to eliminate you one after the other.
“I greet you my people in Zamfara. I greet you my people in Katsina. I greet you my people in Kaduna, Niger, Kebbi and Sokoto. To our people in the forest, I hail you. My name is Muhammadu Bello Turji from the Northwestern region.
“Anybody who is watching this video knows that it is me Bello Turji. We have about five governors who are facilitating the killing of our kinsmen and herders in the forest.
“They called us thieves and terrorists but we are fighting for our people. We thank God and are grateful to Him. We know He gives life and takes it.
“Now that the farming season is near, they are coming to us to strike a peace deal.
“But some of them are deceitful, they are not sincere. All they want is your phone numbers, they will use them to track and eliminate you one after the other with unmanned drones.
“They also want to create disharmony between us. We should be cautious in dealing with them.
“Those areas who have been living peacefully, we pray to Allah to continue to protect them and those areas yearning for peace, we are grateful to God. Thank you. My name is Bello Turji.”
