Former governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi’s presidential aspiration on the platform of the Labour Party will not be smooth sail after all as a factional candidate has emerged ahead of the 2023 election.
Chief Digar Ezenwafor, Obi’s former director of protocol emerged as the LP faction’s candidate at a national convention held in the Garki area of Abuja.
Chief Ezenwafor also served as Senior Special Assistant to Ex-Governor Willy Obiano of Anambra State on Politics and Strategy.
The convention that produced Ezenwafor as candidate, was presided over by the party’s leadership led by its former Deputy National Chairman, Callistus Okafor.
