Ten people have been killed and many others injured in road accident along Ilorin- Jebba highway.
The lone accident, which involved an 18-seater commercial Hiace bus with registration number LND 743 XK, occurred at Iyemoja along Olooru-Okolowo area of the expressway in Moro local government area of Kwara state.
Sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in the state, Jonathan Owoade, said
the crash happened Tuesday morning as Muslim faithfuls were preparing for Eid-el-Kabir prayers.
He said the accident was caused by speed violation.
The injured were taken to Ayo hospital, Okolowo and the state General Hospital, Ilorin.
