The new Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume, has been sworn in by President Bola Tinubu.
Tinubu performed the swearing-in on Wednesday at the council chamber.
Akume swore to the Oath of Allegiance and Oath of Office.
Vice President Kashim Shettima; President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan; Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State, and Head of the Civil Service of the Federation attended the ceremony.
Tinubu announced Akume the SGF, outgoing Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, his Chief of Staff and the former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, Sen. Ibrahim Hadejia, was appointed as Deputy Chief of Staff last Friday.
