President Bola Tinubu had a minor mishap on Wednesday at the Eagle Square Abuja, where he missed a step and slipped.
The incident occured when the president was trying to board the presidential parade vehicle shortly after arriving at the venue.
The president, however, quickly regained his balance and continued with the rest of the programme.
The parade was part of activities to mark this year’s Democracy Day celebration, the second since Tinubu became president.
Tinubu had earlier addressed the nation in a state-wide broadcast where he hailed heroes of Nigeria’s democratic journey.
