President Bola Tinubu met with the class of 1999 Governors on Wednesday at the State House Abuja.
Mr Tinubu was governor of Lagos State between 1999 to 2007.
The meeting which took place at the Council Chambers of the Aso Villa, Abuja, was attended by governors who served between 1999 and 2007.
The ex-governors were at the State House to identify with Tinubu, and to express solidarity over his recent policies since assumption of office as Nigeria’s President on May 29, 2023.
The ex-governors include James Ibori (Delta), Donald Duke (Cross River), Orji Kalu (Abia), Victor Attah (Akwa Ibom), Adamu Mu’azu (Bauchi), Sam Egwu (Ebonyi), Chimaroke Nnamani (Enugu), and Ibrahim Saminu Turaki (Jigawa).
Others are Niyi Adebayo (Ekiti), Bisi Akande (Osun), Joshua Dariye (Plateau), Ahmed Yerima (Zamfara), Jolly Nyame (Taraba), Olusegun Osoba (Ogun), Attahiru Bafarawa (Sokoto).
