President Bola Tinubu and the leaders of the 10th National Assembly held a meeting behind closed doors on Wednesday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, led the delegation which had Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin, Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, and Senate Minority Leader Abba Moro to the meeting.
Also present at the meeting were Senator representing Abia North Senatorial District, Orji Uzor Kalu; Senator representing Kebbi Central Senatorial District, Adamu Aliero; Senator representing Gombe Central Senatorial District, Danjuma Goje; and Senator representing Bauchi Central Senatorial District, Abdul Ningi.
With the agenda not made public, 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE learnt that the meeting reviewed critical national issues on the ravaging insecurity across the country, the state of the economy, the political situation in the country that has generated much debate, among others.
