President Bola Tinubu has appointed 12 Consuls-General and five Chargè D’ Affairs for 13 countries.
This was revealed in a statement by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Alkasim Abdulkadir, on Tuesday.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, has called on the newly appointed Chargé D’affaires and Consuls-General to be good ambassadors of Nigeria.
He urged them to shun the act of politicking and recommit themselves to their calling of diplomacy for the collective interest and development of Nigeria.
The new appointees are to resume immediately.
