Three members of the Kano State House Assembly loyal to the founder of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP), Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, have returned to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Among those who defect to the ruling party include Kabiru Yusuf Isma’il, representing Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso’s constituency, Madobi.
A statement issued on Wednesday by the commissioner for Information, Malam Muhammad Garba said that member representing Dawakin Kudu local government, Mu’azzam El-Yakubu has also rejoined the NNPP.
He said, ‘’Already member of the state legislature representing Bagwai/Shanono, Isa Ali rejoined the APC days after decamping to the NNPP,’’ the statement said.
‘’Garba’s colleague at the assembly representing Dambatta state constituency, Hon. Murtala Kore also renounced his membership of the NNPP to remain in the APC.’’
