A woman in Texas has described the panic she felt when she was simultaneously attacked by a hawk and a snake while mowing her lawn. Peggy Jones, of Silsbee, Texas, told NBC affiliate KPRC-TV that as she was working in the garden, a snake suddenly appeared out of nowhere and encircled her arm.”I was flailing my arms in the air as the snake squeezed so tightly. Then, a hawk came swooping down and repeatedly bit my arm, according to Ms. Jones.
“I just kept pleading with Jesus, ‘Help me! Jesus, please help me. According to Ms. Jones, the hawk made at least four failed attempts to catch the snake before finally succeeding, leaving a trail of blood in its wake.
