Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa, on Thursday joined Turkish club’s Fatih Karagümrük on a one year deal from Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) side Kano Pillar.
This was announced in a video posted on the official social media account of the red-black club.
Sport analysts say the deal will be a lucrative one for Musa who becomes the fifth player to arrive at the club in the summer transfer window, after Aleksandar Pesic, Kerim Frei, Samed Onur and Erhun Öztümer.
Karagümrük reportedly beat Galatasaray and Beşiktaş to the signature of the winger.
“We added the 28-year-old Nigerian offensive player to our squad. During his career, he played for clubs such as VVV Venlo, CSKA Moscow and Leicester City.
Musa scored 15 goals in 87 matches for the Nigerian National Team,” the club commented at the unveiling of the ex JUTH FC star.
