Governors of the 17 Southern Nigerian states, since you have decided to regionalise every issue under the sun and since you have worked out a common political program in opposition to the Federal Government, why don’t you go ahead and form a political party of your own?
You have already got a manifesto. All you need is a name, a motto, a symbol and a flag. The preamble of your new party’s constitution should repudiate all existing political parties, Nigeria Governors’ Forum, National Economic Council, National Council of State and National Assembly, since you have no faith in any of them.
You should adopt the name Southern Governors Advance Party.
Your symbol should be a short Southern goat tied to a palm tree.
Your flag should be a cross between Kanu’s grey beard and Igboho’s charmed chalice. And your motto should be “No North, no Centre, only South.”
