Vice President Kashim Shettima would visit Kano State on Sunday for condolences.
Mr Shettima would be in Kano on condolence visit to the family of late elder statesman, Alhaji Abubakar Imam Galadanchi, who dried recently.
Mr Shettima will be received by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport.
Spokesperson of Governor Yusuf, Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, announced this in a statement on Saturday.
The Vice President would pay homage to the Emir of Kano Aminu Ado Bayero, before proceeding to the Government House.
The deceased is a father in-law to Sultan of Sokoto Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar and Emir of Bichi Nasiru Ado Bayero.
