Senator representing Kano South Senatorial district, Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya, has lost to NNPP at his own local government.
As collation of results began in the state, the Collation Officer for Gaya- Nuraddeen Abdullahi read the result during the formation there were 10,8443 registered votes and
31,409 votes where acrredated.
According to him APC got 10,079 votes, PDP 747 votes and NNPP got 18,419.
He said the total valid votes are 30,193 and rejected votes were 941 with a total votes cast of 31,134.
