The new service chiefs appointed by President Bola Tinubu are currently undergoing screening at the Senate.
They included Major-General Christopher Musa, as the new Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) and Major-General Taoreed Lagbaja, as Chief of Army Staff.
Others are Rear Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, named Chief of Naval Staff and Air Vice Marshal Hassan Abubakar, as the Chief of Air Staff, while Major-General Emmanuel Undiandeye, is the new Chief of Defence Intelligence.
It would be recalled that on Tuesday Senate President Godswill Akpabio said Tinubu asked the Red Chamber to confirm the appointments.
The president said the confirmation request was in line with the Act establishing the Armed Forces.
The service chiefs took turns to read their biographies after which the Senate went into closed-door meeting.
