Saudi Arabia has condemned Iran for bombing the United States military bases in the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan and Kuwait.
Riyadh accused Tehran of “blatant aggression” and violations of the sovereignty of several Arab nations, and pledged full support for affected regional allies.
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement on Saturday, Riyadh reaffirmed its “unwavering support” for the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait and Jordan.
The statement described the attacks as flagrant breaches of international law that threaten regional peace and stability.
The Saudi Government said it would place “all its capabilities” at the disposal of the affected countries in support of any defensive measures deemed necessary.
It warned of “grave consequences” should violations of state sovereignty continue and called on the international community to adopt firm measures to address what it characterized as destabilizing Iranian conduct.
