The reinstated Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi, is currently at the Kano Government House to receive his letter of appointment.
Sanusi arrived at Kano late Thursday and a lowkey homecoming reception was organised for him as result of security advice
All is now for the much anticipated event that will usher the Emir to his first outing in the public since his reinstatement.
There would be a mini-durbar at the Africa House in Kano Government House by 10am, in his honour after which he would proceed to the Nasarawa Emir’s palace.
He is also scheduled to lead the Juma’at (Friday) prayers at the Kano Central mosque located at the palace in Kofar Kudu.
