“On Monday evening, September 26, Amarere was attacked and robbed while obeying the laws of the road close to the Community Staff School in Asokoro, a building that is owned and run by the DSS.
“Fortunately, no one was hurt physically, but the miscreants took some of his possessions, and his driver was hurt somewhat. We urge our coworkers to use greater caution as we obey traffic signals in the City Center, especially after dark.
“The police are called in to step up checkpoints and monitoring, particularly at ongoing building sites for highways and by strategically placed traffic lights. We urge coworkers to continue protecting themselves and one another.”
