A famous Kano – based political singer, Dauda Kahutu Rarara, has dropped another fresh song that sparked a fresh reaction in the entertainment sector as well as the state political sector especially supporters of New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) and its national leader, Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso.
The song titled, ‘Tsula Ya Sallama’ is being regarded as an insult to NNPP national leader Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso. The singer, who referred to the NNPP national leader as “Tsula,” a name he gave to Senator Kwankwaso, has been facing a serious challenge in Kano state due to his songs in recent times.
In this new song, Rarara said Kwankwaso’s meeting with President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu in France is an indicator that Kwankwaso has succumbed to defeat. In the song, Rarara also showed that Kwankwaso went to France to lobby and consolidate NNPP’s victory in Kano.
Barely hours after the release of the song, it went viral, and many supporters of Senator Kwankeaso felt bad about it, they quickly took to their social media handles condemning the song, calling it a total attack on Kwankwaso’s personality.
Among the supporters that took to their social media handles to express their dissatisfaction with the new songs is Kannywood actor Mustapha Naburaska who was at a time an ally of Rarara. In a short video he posted on his page, Naburaska called on Kwankwason’s supporters to pay back Rarara in folds.
“This beggar has released another song again. This is a challenge to all Kwankwaso supporters. He had bought one and we shall give him ten. we would repay him in folds,” said Naburaska.
It can be recalled that the singers and a Kannywood star properties were attacked after the state governor’s results were announced in the just concluded 2023 gubernatorial election in Kano state, the attack was said to be connected to the singer’s songs against members of NNPP.
