Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has congratulated the Katsina indigenes who were recently appointed into key positions by President Bola Tinubu.
A statement by the governor’s spokesperson, Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed, congratulated Dr Aminu Maida who has been named the new Executive Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and Aisha Rimi who is the new Head of the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission (NIPC).
Mohammed quoted his principal as saying Katsina State is known for producing talented professionals who have contributed significantly to nation-building.
“He said these significant appointments from Katsina State highlight the state’s role in Nigeria’s growth and development.
“The Governor on behalf of the people of Katsina State, congratulates Aminu Maida and Aisha Rimi and wished them success in their important roles,” the statement said.
“His Excellency expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for appointing these individuals from his state and advised them to be good ambassadors of Katsina State.
Aminu brings with him over 15 years of international experience in areas like FinTech, Telecoms, and Enterprise Technology.
