The palace of the District Head of Bokkos in Bokkos local government area of Plateau state, Michal Monday Adanchi, has been burnt by protesting women.
The aggrieved women who are protesting the arrest of some of their people in connection with the killings in the state, poured on the streets around 12:30 pm on Friday, January 5 after leaving the police station they had earlier visited.
A local who would not want to be identified said the women burned the house following the arrest of some members of the community for their alleged involvement in the recent killings in the area.
He said Adanchie’s residence and his administrative office were burned down.
