All Progressives Congress (APC)’s factional group in Ekiti State loyal to former Lagos State Governor Bola Tinubu, has approached a Federal High Court, in Ado Ekiti to remove Governor Mai Mala Buni as chairman, caretaker committee of the party.
The group, under the aegis of South West Agenda for Asiwaju 2023 (SWAGA), in a suit number FHC/AD/CS/21/2021 equally asked the court to set aside all decisions and actions taken by the committee on behalf of the party so far.
It also sought an interlocutory injunction declaring the outcome of the Saturday local government and ward congresses held on July 31 illegal.
