Lawmakers loyal Governor Similanayi Fubara of Rivers State in the state House of Assembly have asked some commissioner-nominees for screening.
The nominees were invited to appear before the assembly led by Hon. Victor Oko-Jumbo.
21st CENTURY CHRONICLE learnt that eight nominees were invited for screening as commissioners.
They are to present 12 sets of their curriculum vitae and original and photocopies of their credentials.
The Clerk of the pro Fubara House of Assembly, G.M. Gillis-West , who signed the letter of invitation was sent to the nominees who include Prince Charles O. Bekee, Collins N. Onunwo, Solomon Eke, Dr. Peter N. Medee, Elloka Tasie Amadi, Basoene Joshua Benibo, Tambari Sydney Gbara, and Dr. Ovy Orluideye Chinendum Chukwuma.
When screened and approved, the new nominees would take over the vacant positions in the cabinet following the resignation of five commissioners loyal to the Minister of Federal Capital Territory Barrister Nyesom Wike.
