The Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA) on Fridays aid there is no increase in the price of the Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) petrol.
Its Executive Secretary, Abdulkadir Saidu, said this in a statement on Friday.
According to him, the agency was still mindful of the Federal Government deliberations with the Organised Labour on the matter.
The agency had on Friday midnight projected the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) at N212.11 per litre, in its pricing template for the month of March.
However, the agency deleted from its website the template on Friday morning, after Nigerians had begun to criticize the government decision, as fuel queues resurfaced in Abuja and major cities in the country due to panic buying by consumers.
This was after Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) had on its twitter page insisted that petrol depot prices will remain unchanged in March
