Kano indigenes who applied for the constable positions in the ongoing nationwide police recruitment would begin their screening on Tuesday, February 1, 2022.
This was disclosed by the Kano State Police Command on Friday.
Spokesperson of the police command in the state, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, said in a statement that only applicants who successfully completed the online registration were eligible to participate in the 2021 recruitment screening, for the 10,000 applicants for constable position who are indigenes of Kano.
It urged the applicants to report at Police officers’ Mess Bompai, Kano on the date indicated against their LGAs between 1st to 20th February, 2022 for Physical/Credentials Screening Exercise.
The statement wais the shortlisted applicants to report at the venue on white T-Shirt, white Short Knickers and white canvas, with the following; National Identity Card Slip, Original Copies/Photocopies of Credentials, Print-out of Application Profile Page, Duly Completed Guarantor’s Form , Two Passport Photographs and A white office Flat File.
The state Commissioner of Police, Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko reiterates that, the screening exercise is free of charge and Candidates are advised to be wary of criminals who want to take advantage of the exercise to scam them.
He warned that whoever is found wanting, will face the full wrath of the law.
