Governor Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau has approved the implementation of N70,000 Minimum Wage for workers in the state.
The Head of Service (HoS) of the state, Mr Stephen Pam, made this known in a statement on Thursday in Jos.
Pam said the approval followed the agreement by the Committee on Consequential Adjustment on Salaries signed on Nov. 13.
He said that the move demonstrates the government’s commitment toward the welfare and wellbeing of workers in the state.
The HoS called on all workers in the state to be more committed and dedicated toward the discharge of their duties.
