The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has upheld the disqualification of two of its presidential aspirants by the Senator Daivid Mark-led screening committee.
The affected aspirants were Cosmas Ndukwe, a former lawmaker and a US-based medical doctor, Nwachukwu Anakwenze.
Mark had told newsmen that the duo were disqualified on the ground that they did not meet necessary requirements.
Ndukwe and Anakwenze however protested their disqualification at the appeal committee.
But the appeal committee headed by the national chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu upheld their disqualification at a sitting on Wednesday.
