Governorship campaign by the Yobe State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) flag bearer Alhaji Sherif Abdullahi has been flagged off on Friday in Nguru, Yobe, ahead of 2023 general elections.
Abdullahi, promised a better leadership and to improve the welfare of the state’s civil servants.
A Board of Trustee member of the party, Alhaji Adamu Waziri, said the PDP would win at all levels in the 2023 general elections.
“With your support, the PDP Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and all other contestants will win the 2023 general elections,” Waziri said.
The former Minister of Police Affairs, appealed to the electorate to beleive in the party and come out enmass to cast their votes.
According to Waziti, there would be no rigging and any kind of manipulation in next year’s election and urge the people to vote for credible and trustworthy candidates who will salvage Nigeria from hunger and economic crisis.
The PDP inaugurated its State Campaign Council on Nov. 1, in Damaturu.
