The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri as chairman of the party’s convention organizing committee.
Fintiri emerged the chairman of the committee at the 93rd National Executive Committee (NEC) of the party on Thursday in Abuja.
The national publicity of the party, Kola Ologbondiyan said the NEC also appointed Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde as secretary of the
convention planning committee.
He said Enugu state Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi is to head the committee
on zoning, while Zamfara State deputy governor, Mahdi Aliyu is to
serve as secretary.
The meeting, he noted, also named Bayelsa state Governor Duoye Diri as
deputy chairman of the convention planning committee, while Samuel

He assured that the lingering court cases against the leadership of
the party would be laid to rest in a matter of days.
