A 74-year-old man in southern Germany who ordered for kitchen appliance online, instead received a package containing several grams of marijuana and hashish following a postal mix-up.
The Police, who disclosed the incident on Friday, said that the two packages were likely confused during shipping.
The man had ordered the appliance online, but when he received the drugs in the mail at the beginning of the week instead, he contacted the police.
A police spokesman declined to disclose what type of kitchen appliance the man had ordered “for tactical and investigative reasons.’’
According to the police, it remains unclear who was supposed to receive the drugs and whether they had received a new kitchen appliance instead. (dpa/NAN)
