The crisis between Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde and his deputy, Rauf Olaniyan, has deepened, less than two years in office.
Sources said that the bone of contention is the 2023 poll. While the governor is working hard to deliver on his promises to earn a second term, it is said that his deputy also harbours a governorship ambition.
Even though the governor has denied that there is any rift between them, some politicians loyal to the deputy governor have accused him of not taking his deputy along in running the affairs of the state.
