Elected local government officials in Osun State have been ordered to vacate their respective offices following the expiration of their tenure today Friday.
Secretary to the State Government, Prince Wole Oyebamiji, in a notice he issued on Friday, said Governor Adegboyega Oyetola gave the order and instructed the affected elected officials to hand over administration of their respective council and area offices to the most senior personnel in the council.
The notice said Oyetola appreciates the individual contributions to the development of the state by the outgoing council officials and wishes them well in their future engagement.
