The Chief Executive Officer of Fourscore Homes Limited, Mr Femi Osibona, is dead.
He is the owner of the company constructing the 21-storey building that collapsed in Ikoyi Lagos, on Monday.
Rescue officials said Osibona’s corpse was recovered from the rubble Thursday evening. There has been concerns over the whereabouts of Osibona, his friend, Wale Bob-Oseni, and others trapped inside the rubble.
Bob-Oseni, who was on his way to the United States, briefly made a detour to see the project on the invitation of the developer but did not walk out alive.
At least 39 people have been confirmed dead with nine others rescued.
