Vice President Yemi Osinbajo is currently hosting governors of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to Iftar at his official residence, Akinola Aguda House, in the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to a report by Daily Trust, the vice president would use the occasion to consult with the party governors operating under the aegis of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) on his presidential ambition.
The report said by 6:45pm, six governors, including those of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufa’i, and Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, were already within the premises.
Other APC governors seen being driven in before the scheduled time for the meeting were Hope Uzodinma of Imo; Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos and Gboyega Oyetola of Osun.
