A clash between commercial motorcycle riders known as Okada and policemen has led to the death of an unidentified policeman along the Apapa-Oshodi expressway.
Tension is reported high following the incident which was not clear at the time of this report.
At least three guns belonging to the police were reportedly seized by yet-to-be-identified persons.
The clash happened around Cele Bus Stop and has created panic in the area.
The lifeless body of the police was sighted by the roadside with more than five patrol vehicles filled with fully armed policemen pursuing the okada riders towards Second Rainbow/Mile 2 along the expressway.
The riders were also seen brandishing objects like cutlasses, sticks and iron rods as they fled from police arrest.
