Former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi, on Monday led protesters to the National Assembly over ongoing Electoral Act Amendment.
Obi is accompanied by many of his supporters including Aisha Yesufu, a popular activist, and have occupied the entrance to the parliamentary building.
They are at the National Assembly to demand the Senate to include real-time electronic transmission of results from polling units in the Electoral Amendment Bill under consideration.
The Police and the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps as well as other paramilitary agencies have deployed their vans around as their men have taken strategic locations to ensure order.
