The League Management Company (LMC) has banned the supporters of Katsina United Football Club from the club’s home matches in the ongoing NPFL season.
This was announced in a statement ion Monday by Nasir Gide, the club’s spokesperson.
“The ban was conveyed in a letter to the Club’s Chairman, Abdulsamad Badamasi,” he said.
This ban was as a result of the security breaches that saw Fans assaulting match officials during Katsina United’s match against Gombe United FC.
The ban will last until necessary security arrangements are made to ensure the security and safety of teams, match officials and fans during future matches in the stadium.
