The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited said it has released 381.88 millions of litres of petrol to address scarcity of the commodity in the country.
The NNPC disclosed this in its report for February 21 to 26, 2022.
It said it distributed 387.59 million litres of PMS from February 14 to 20, 2022, to bridge the petrol supply gap.
As a result, it said, queues for petrol in filling stations that dispensed the commodity on Sunday remained in Abuja and neighbouring Nasarawa and Niger states, as well as in many other states.
The queues at the Nipco filling station along the Kubwa end of the Kubwa-Zuba expressway in Abuja have lessened just as it is in Zuba, Niger State.
It said it is the same situation at filling stations in Mararaba and Nyanya in Nasarawa State.
