At least nine governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), were in the entourage of the party’s presidential candidate during his trip to Lagos on Sunday, 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE learnt.
The governors include Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi State; Mai Mala Buni, Yobe; Abdullahi Ganduje, Kano; Abubakar Badaru, Jigawa; Hope Uzodimma, Imo; Dapo Abiodun, Ogun; AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, Kwara; Abdullahi Sule, Nasarawa; and Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos.
The visit was the first since Tinubu emerged the presidential candidate of the party.
Also on his entourage include former APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole; former Governor of Borno State, Senator Kashim Shettima; Senators Tokunbo Wahab and Adeola Solomon; Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa; his deputy, Wasiu Eshinlokun-Sanni; members of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC); former Minister of State for Defense, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro; Lagos APC chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi; Chairman/CEO of Nigeria in the Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), serving and former members of the National Assembly and Lagos State House of Assembly.
Tinubu met the Oba of Lagos, Rilwanu Akiolu, at his Iga Idun-garan’s Palace, Lagos Island for a royal blessing shortly after his arrival in Lagos.
